Trolley/Rail System Builder 1st shift

Another 90 day temp to hire! Madison Heights location! Day Shift! Starting salary is $19.16!

Our client is a Union Shop that builds large equipment.  When this equipment is installed it has to be mounted to a trolley system.  This system is assembled at their Madison Heights facility and then shipped to it’s final destination.  We are assisting them in finding a Trolley/Rail Assembler.  If you have that experience Great! If not your prior work history must be very strong in the assembly field.  This is not simple general assembly.  You must be able to read blue prints and follow precise directions.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Determines Assembly Procedure from prints or verbal instructions.
  • Performs precision aligning, adjusting and fitting to very close tolerances. Subject to inspections within closely prescribed limits.
  • May assemble complete unit or subassembly of intricate or expensive apparatus using hand tools or power machinery to obtain proper fittings.
  • Tests completed product or subassembly to gage compliance with operating needs involving high-speeds, precise movements, sealing capacities.
  • Determines and make repairs necessary on equipment returned for service.
  • Maintains equipment as it relates to preventative maintenance, keeping area clean of debris and standard 5S principles
  • Complies with company policies related to safety and personal protection equipment requirements.
  • Accurately completes records, logs, manifests, time sheets and other pertinent documentation to support the job function.
  • Refer issues and problems to the lead or manager for the area as necessary.

  • Ability to read and write English
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work with power tools and other related equipment
  • Work with minimum supervision
