Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for an organized Administrative Assistant in Texas City, TX. This is for a long-term/temp-to-hire) opportunity that will give you valuable experience to enhance your career. As an Administrative Assistant you will perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers. Responsibilities for this Administrative Assistant job include:

-Responsible for creating and managing miscellaneous reports
-Create and manage expense reports on a timely basis.
-Maintain calendar and contacts database in Outlook.
-Receive incoming calls and direct appropriately.
-Verify and process departmental invoices in timely manner.
-Process SAP and other paperwork and verify and process departmental invoices in timely manner.
-Assist sales with creating orders and shipments.
-Create deliveries and invoices, initiate shipments and expedite orders.
-Manage vendor and customer contact files.
-Answer the phone, directing vendors and customers to the appropriate employee
-Provide exceptional customer service internally and externally.
-Scheduling and coordinating meetings, interviews, events and other similar activities
-Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma
- 2 Years of Experience Admin/Clerical role in Manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Power Point)  SAP knowledge is preferred
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Adept at meeting deadlines and handling confidential information –
- Strong attention to detail, strong organizational skills
- Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills
- Highly dependable and trustworthy
