User Computing Specialist
Hours: Monday through Friday, 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Duties include but not limited to;
1. Provide IT helpdesk:/customer service tasks such as hardware/software installations or repairs. Provide support and
troubleshooting in computer laboratories, classrooms, conference rooms and computer workspaces.
2. Coordinate timely repairs or replacement of current hardware (desktops, laptops, and printers)
3. Assists clients in understanding and accessing network-connected resources at all levels within the University's network
4. Answers end-user questions or researches and responds to the question within an appropriate time.
5. Provides one-on-one end-user problem resolution remotely or in person for the school's end user environment.
6. Performs tuning, monitoring and trend analysis for workstation equipment and associated LAN-based operating systems
7. Serves as a technical support resource within IT
8. Understands and adheres to Rutgers' compliance standards as they appear in RBHS's Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of
Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.
9. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Ability to work 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Flexibility to commute to Piscataway campus on a need basis.
Strong customer service skills
Good communication skills
High competency in resolving hardware, network and Office 365 issues.
