Utility Worker

Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a Utility Assistant position in Chippewa Falls, WI. This is a long-term temporary opportunity with the potential for hire. As a Utility Assistant you will be required to load and move material and operate packaging equipment and perform routine tasks to keep machines and work areas safe and cleaned. Responsibilities for this Utility Assistant position include:

  • Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.
  • Operate machinery used in the production packaging process or assist machine operators.
  • Continuously monitor conveyor systems and clear bottle jams from lines.
  • Clean and lubricate equipment.
  • Load and unload material from trailers.
  • Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists.
  • Package product to meet customer specifications.
  • Inspect products to verify conformance with quality standards and removes defective products and packaging material.
  • Assemble boxes and cartons and may hand-pack materials.
  • Ensure correct tagging and packaging of product complies with specific customer requirements.


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Stable work history.

Candidates must be able to work any day of the week to support a rotating schedule.

Hours are 7:00pm to 7:00am at a pay rate of $14.50/hour.
