Responsible and accountable for managing and coordinating all residential mortgage origination sales and service activities, expense management, growth and retention of the sales force within the bank. This position supports the long-term strategic direction of a growing and exisiting Residential Mortgage department. The Residential Mortgage Sales Manager is accountable for the delievery of exceptional sales results, the execution of a disciplined sales culture, and the eventual building out MLO's, reviewing existing and establishing new policies/procedures/pricing as it relates to Mortgage Lending, coaching and development of a high performing Sales team. Will partner with other lines of business leaders to increase the Mortgage and other retail banking lines of business of the bank. Will be responsible for managing client referral and cross sell processes ensuring all new customers and ensures sales/originator systems and work flows are efficiently controlled. Develops and coaches a team of Mortgage Loan Officers to ensure they have a thorough knowledge, are meeting loan production goals and have full understanding of the bank loan origination process in order to meet or exceed both personal and bank financial objectives/ profitability.

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7-10 years managing and leading a team of Mortgage Loan Originators to achieve production goals including self individual goals within a retail/domestic and/or foreign bank, operational excellence and growth and profitability of the business channel, while maintaining a personal pipeline of retail mortgage loans (Mostly Foreign Nationals & Domestic). Must have a proven track record of success to successfully develop knowledge of company products, policies and procedures, and underwriting requirements. Demonstrate working knowledge of real estate appraisals, title reports, loan processing/operations/closing and residential real estate transactions while communicating effectively Bank programs, rates, policies, underwriting requirements, and loan procedures to prospective and existing customers. Highly prefer candidates who have existing relationships within the local Dade and Broward county. Base salary + basis points incentive commission structure on self generated and referred loans from the bank and MLO team.
