Adecco Direct Placement is currently recruiting qualified candidates for a Direct Hire VP of Property Management Job in Dublin, CA for our client, a reputable top nationwide retail entity. The VP of Property Management is responsible for leading, developing and executing effective Property Management strategies for Property Development. This role also oversees the monetary and non-monetary compliance of all the company’s leases; acts as a liaison with Landlords in Dispute Resolutions. Our client seeks a candidate with 15 years Property Management experience (retail environment preferred) and 7 years supervisor experience.

Responsibilities for the VP of Property Management Job in Dublin, CA include:

Develops the short and long-term Property Management strategic plan for the company, establishing procedures and metric measures for effective management of department operations.
Identifies trends in the industry and seeks out best practices to incorporate into company Property Management Department.
Oversee, resolve and directs activities in the areas of option renewals, store closures and reduced occupancy; landlord audits, issues and disputes; maintenance & repair issues; interprets audits and measures performance.
Provides support to Real Estate, Real Estate Law, Construction and Facilities Departments.
Develops and cultivates a network of contacts within the industry for the purpose of staying on top of emerging Property Management trends.
Oversee Maintenance & Repair issues that are the Landlords responsibility.
Allocates resources to areas of maximum effectiveness, providing leadership, direction, training and coaching for achievement of objectives.
Responsible for overseeing Property Development annual departmental and store operating budgets, i.e. including but not limited to rent payments, CAM, Taxes, Insurance, billing and reimbursements to Landlords of Tenant Improvements, Notes Payable, Notes Receivable, maintenance and repairs bill back, etc.


Qualifications:

Proven experience leading a Property Management function in a dynamic fast paced environment.
15 years Property Management experience (retail environment preferred).
7 years supervisory experience.
College degree or equivalent experience in Property Management field.
