Responsible for underwriting, managing and monitoring an assigned portfolio of commercial loan relationships – both Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and Commercial and Industrial (C&I) relationships and possibly others. This position reviews both new and renewal loan requests, performs a variety of credit analysis, recommends appropriate loan structures, documents findings and makes approval recommendations. In addition, provides ongoing portfolio management through continuous monitoring and annual reviews, renewal of existing credit facilities, monitoring financial covenant compliance, and servicing loan modification requests. Provides a high level of customer service to existing and prospective clients. Average loan size will range anywhere from $1M up to $30M with typical average size loan from $3-10M and commercial loan types consists of Income Producing/Owner Occupied/Equip Financing/Term Loans/Working Capital Lines/Lines of Credit/Construction/Asset Base Lending/Commercial Mortgages.

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting and four (4) to six (6) years banking experience in commercial lending as a Commercial Credit Officer, Portfolio Analyst/Manager or Commercial Relationship Manager.

At least 3 months of formal Credit Analysis training or formal equivalent bank commercial credit training is required.
Experienced in complex commercial lending, financial structuring and credit arrangements; educated in Commercial & Industrial credit underwriting policies and procedures to be able to apply them and possess advanced knowledge of (GAAP), taxation, and business law.
Possess strong credit skills and be knowledgeable of credit policies and have working knowledge of credit and financial analysis, including cash flow analysis, balance sheet analysis, profitability, liquidity, and solvency analysis.
Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Computer proficient in MS Software, (e.g. Excel, Word, and Outlook).
