Warehouse Associate
Job Summary
Coordinate the receipt of all incoming materials including uploading freights, recording in database, determining storage location, and moving material to the proper area.
Key Accountabilities
- Coordinate the issuing of all outgoing materials including documenting, packing, shipping, & issuing materials to employees
- Resolve all warehousing discrepancies and errors by communicating and problem solving with department management, Purchasing and Accounting groups, vendors, and freight companies
- Supervise hourly service equipment operators in loading, unloading, and moving of freight
- Perform cycle count inventory
- Ensure price accuracy for incoming and outgoing materials
- Prepare purchase orders for on and off property purchases, repairs, and returns
- Maintain and ensure accuracy in the database containing inventory, receiving, and issuing information
- Prepare required reports on fuel usage, rentals, returns for credit, and keep-fill on a weekly basis
- Re-bin, re-label or move obsolete materials as necessary
- Supervise, communicate with, and train all other company personnel, temporary employees, and vendors in the warehouse.
Education Requirement
2 year degree in related field or equivalent
