Currently seeking multiple Warehouse Professionals and Machine Operators for an advanced manufacturing company with the plant location in Louisville, KY. These area direct hire / full-time positions.

Warehousing and Quality Control Personnel Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. Employees will load/unload trucks depending on need and in a timely manner. Oversee warehousing of specific material and quality control. Manage waste disposal. Organize and put materials away in the correct areas. Manage parts inventory. Package and blend materials, as needed. Assemble/Disassemble boxes. Clean, as needed. Employees will need forklift experience. Work closely with other team members to ensure all deadlines are met, orders are filled, warehouse is clean and orderly and customers, as well as, salesmen, are happy. The employee will do whatever is needed to ensure that deadlines are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved and/or packaged.
• Oversee warehousing of materials and quality control.
• Manage waste disposal.
• Organize and put materials away in specified areas.
• Manage parts inventory.
• Blending and packaging, as needed.
• Opens containers to ensure material is correct.
• Collects samples of material to be tested.
• Cleans warehouse, as needed.
• Communicates efficiently with shipping office and other team members.
• Loads and unloads materials onto trucks or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by forklift.
• Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
• Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination or signals crane or hoisting operators to move load to destination.
• Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
• Shovels loose materials such as sand, gravel, metals, plastics, or chemicals, into machine hoppers or into vehicles and containers such as wheelbarrows, bags, boxes, scrap truck, or barrels.

Qualifications Must have forklift experience and proven/stable job history. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must be able to read and write accordingly and understand directions and procedures. Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. All other loading and unloading will be done with a fork-truck. Machine Operators must have plastics expereice or knowlege.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Must be able to communicate, write, and speak English.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Forklift experience required.
