Warehouse/PT Truck Driver 

Location: Norwood, MA

Hours: Monday to Friday; 7:00 am – 3 :30 pm on driving days 6:00 am to 4:30 pm 

Pay: $22 per hour

Overtime as needed pays 1.5 times

Overnights May be required

Company reimburses for meals and hotel stays

Temp-to-Perm opportunity.

Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a Warehouse/PT Truck Driver to perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily.  Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

 Work in a warehouse environment to help pull customer orders, help load/unload trucks

• Plaque, finish and inspect all outgoing product by reading and interpreting coding for product labels and perform to company SOP and audit controls

• Build/Complete trips in JDE as needed to support delivery of outgoing product.  

• Interact with customers in a delivery environment, and to help with retail sales counter (branches where applicable) • Check returned product and disposition to next status

• Assist with monthly and yearly inventory – tag/tally

• Fill in for vacationing or absent drivers/warehouse workers in order to provide continuous customer service • Follow all company policies and standard operating procedures in job performance

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • High School Diploma or GED minimum requirement. 
  • CDL-A or B with Hazmat endorsement.
  • 2 years driving experience and minimum 22 years of age.
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds or more.

TOOLS & EQUIPMENT USED: Computer including driver route GPS, time clock and shipping documentation.  Warehouse equipment including forklift, pallet jack, tailgate lift.
