Adecco is recruiting for a Warehouse shipping/receiving clerk in Marsing, ID! This individual will perform activities of receiving, storing, inventorying and shipping finished and raw materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts, in chemical warehouses by performing the following duties.
1. Assembles customer orders from pickslip and floor stock for daily shipments. Ensures products and materials are correctly labeled, count and descriptions are accurate prior to order picks leaving the plant.

2 Neatly warehouses/stores finished and raw materials, packaging and other materials.

3. Assists with the cycle counting and quarterly inventory for plant finished and raw materials.

4. Correctly mark all in-bound freight with appropriate hazardous material labels

5. Conducts safety audits with warehouse supervisor; JHAs and submits safety recommendations.

6. Coordinates the purchase of shipping supplies.

7. Maintains general housekeeping for all warehouses as delegated.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Basic fork lift operation

2. Participation in site safety and health management system and safety meeting.

3. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

2. Experience operating a fork-lift or similar truck; or, must pass in-house fork-truck certification.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

1. Knowledge of inventory control methods and procedures, and the ability to apply such knowledge to practical situations.

2. Knowledge of general policies and procedures, including safety and security measures, and the ability practically to apply such knowledge.

3. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

4. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure or converting from one unit to another (i.e. lbs, KG, Fahrenheit to Celsius), using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

5. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out moderately detailed instruction for specific tasks. (i.e. inventory cycle counting, rearrangements of inventory)

6. Ability to communicate effectively both written and oral.

7. Skill in the proper operation and maintenance of warehouse equipment.

� The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and high, precarious places.

� The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
