Management of all aspects of the different warehouse facilities to include all related storage locations.

Direct activities of the warehouse facilities to obtain optimum use of equipment, facilities and personnel.

Coordinate material efforts with appropriate Construction Foreman, Project Managers and Purchasing personnel to ensure that field operations are maintained at maximum efficiency.

Enforce compliance of warehouse personnel with OSHA, administrative policies, procedures, safety rules, and governmental regulations. Train and develop employees and approve employee actions and pay changes.

Specific Responsibilities (not limited to):

Direct supervision of warehouse personnel to ensure that all warehouse resources remain constantly ready to support the field.

Receive, inspect, store, locate and issue jobsite materials and prepare required documentation and records.

Verify freight documents and purchase orders against physical shipment for correct number, damage, etc.

Document overages or shortages in material shipments and photograph damages.

Place material in proper areas according to storage and handling lists.

Implement warehouse design to accommodate material storage and handling.

Inspect and monitor warehouse cleanliness, organization and safety.

Outbound shipments – locate and prepare materials for shipment, coordinate loading and schedule deliveries.

Insure all items are warehoused (stored) according to field work procedures and company standards.

Accountable for equipment and tool maintenance, tracking. leasing, repairing, etc. and maintain all applicable records.

Provide vehicle fleet maintenance support. This will include, but is not limited to: mechanical maintenance (scheduling & performance), bodywork (scheduling & performance), and washing, cleaning &, detailing as needed.

Ensure all warehouse facility conditions and employees are safe and adhere to effective safety practices.

Perform additional assignments as directed by supervisor.

High School Curriculum

3 years experience in warehouse supervision.

Working knowledge of warehouse procedures, techniques and systems.

Knowledge of shipping and receiving activities.

Knowledge of Software Required:

Microsoft Windows Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
