Summary of Position

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for working as a part of a team on a daily basis to fulfill customer orders safely and productively. 


Responsibilities and Duties

At a minimum, the following is a basic description of typical duties and responsibilities expected of the Warehouse Worker. These duties are not exhaustive and are subject to change as the needs of the organization require.  

  • Keep a safe and clean work environment.
  • Load and unload inbound and outbound freight trucks using forklift and/or overhead crane.
  • Ensure that all freight bills and bill of ladings are accurately completed.
  • Place processed material ready for shipment into appropriate crate or cylinder.
  • Assure compliance with delivery and specification requirements of customer orders.
  • Process all customer orders daily or within the required time stated on the ship tickets.
  • Assist daily in the storage of inventory.
  • Manage inventory through cycle count activity.
  • Saw cutting and de-burring of cut pieces (eventually)
