Warehouse Worker

Responsibilities for the Warehouse Worker position include:

  • Receive, label and put away inbound inventory shipments
  • Generate picklists
  • Pull inventory and deliver to support production schedules
  • Pull outbound orders and stage pallets
  • Load outbound shipments and perform cycle counts
  • Follow GMP guidelines and SOPs while performing all assigned tasks
  • Accurately and timely perform Prism/MTS/DCS transactions as applicable
  • Supply components and raw materials to the Packaging and Manufacturing Departments, which includes movement of Bulk Portable Totes and SuperSacks.
  • Operate forklift truck, pallet jack, and other equipment required for the safe loading, unloading, and transfer of supply components, raw materials, and finished goods.
  • Accurately input and search for data and information concerning all material movements and associated functions in computerized material tracking systems including PRISM and DCS.
  • Coordinate availability of components and resources for current and oncoming shift.
  • Conduct daily inventory of warehouse/line side locations to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinate housekeeping tasks including the removal of waste/cardboard, sweeping, product consolidation and other associated tasks required to maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
  • Log and deliver non-inventory items within the Oak Hill facility
  • Utilize radio frequency scanners, computers, and other equipment (i.e. bar code printers, copiers)
  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Ability to lift 50lbs independently
  • Ability to work as a team, treating other associates with dignity and respect

  • Ability and willingness to learn new things (e.g., hand tool use, use of manuals, etc.)
  • Demonstration of positive and reliable work attitude
  • Ability to work effectively with team/work groups
  • Available to work overtime is required
  • Flexibility in shift assignments
  • Demonstrated Computer Skills (Data Entry, E-Mail, File Access, MicroSoft Office and Excel). Computer literacy-ability to input and search for data
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written), Excellent reading, math and communication skills
  • Able to read, understand & apply information from SOP's, batch sheets, etc
  • Confident in the use of basic math calculations, percentages, fractions and decimal notation
  • Attention to detail and ability to record information clearly and accurately is required
  • Must follow cGMP's and associated department/site SOP's
  • Flexibility to work up to 12 hour days (including weekends) on all shifts and overtime is required.
  • Must be able to read and accurately interpret SOPs/Work instructions that are written in English.
  • Ability to operate electric pallet jack or forklift to move materials.
  • Previous Manufacturing or Packaging experience will be considered
  • Experience with machine changeovers and use of hand tools strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in PRISM and /or DCS computer software applications
There are three shifts available: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Pay for this position is $13.50-$14.85 an hour. This position is NOT busline accessible.
