Welder Assembly

 

Anodizing Rack Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the Day-To-Day maintenance, repair, and adjustment of All Anodizing Racks.  This includes following a prescribed schedule of Rack Inspection, Repair, and Adjustment

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Provide prompt service to Racking Supervisors and Racking Team Members for Rack Adjustment.
  • Follows All Safe Work Practices All Maintenance Duties
  • Always uses Prescribed Person Protective Equipment
  • Works to repair and return to safe mechanical operation – Anodizing Racks and Other equipment
  • Ensure reliability and safety of all Anodizing System Racks.
  • Repair and/or modify Racks to Accommodate Changes in Production Activity.
  • Disassemble, repair, and reassemble Racks to Specifications given by Anodizing Manager
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance including Cleaning, Tightening, Adjusting and Welding.
  • Properly follows all company policies, with attention paid to “Safety Policies”.
  • Any additional duties as determined by Anodizing, Plant and/or Maintenance Manager.

    EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

     

  • High School diploma or equivalent, some college or professional quality training preferred.
  • Mechanical experience with machine shop equipment including hand drills, grinders, drill press
  • General Welding experience – Mig, Tig, Arc & Oxy-acetylene – Must be able to pass a welding test.
  • General plant /facilities maintenance experience
  • Basic math skills and the ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
  • Ability to recognize safety hazards and work within safety guidelines
  • Must be capable of lifting and moving heavy objects and work in tight spaces
  • Problem solving and mechanical diagnostic skills
