Shift/Hours:          Hours would typically be 8:00-4:30 but flexible.

 

Responsibilities for this Financial Analyst job include, but are not limited to:

• This role is providing project and financial analysis support for Accelerate 2020. This role will work with a wide range of finance and HR contacts to help the A2020 PMO run smoothly. Typical work will include coordinating with local HR teams to make sure our client’s master data is accurate. Also, consolidate data for reporting purposes.

• Our client needs a person who is highly organized, strong follow through to completion of tasks, comfortable working with a wide range of people in both the finance and HR organizations (and across the globe). Good business acumen and professional. This role will deal with a lot of sensitive information, so integrity is super important.
• This role is responsible for detailed validation of headcount tracking to ensure accurate and timely reporting of program financials. This role will serve as the primary liaison between the Accelerate 2020 PMO HR Lead and HR Business Partners who are responsible for tracking individual projects and actions.
• This role directly engages with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) across the globe, the HR PMO Lead and the Finance PMO Lead to identify and resolve data gaps in the existing headcount tracking. In addition, this role with train HRBPs on the use of tracking tools.

• Finally, this role will own ongoing maintenance tasks and month end reporting related to a new Workday based tracking tool. and explore opportunities to simplify the process. Results will significantly impact the achievement of the strategic and financial objectives of the program.
• Identify and assist teams in issue identification and resolution to achieve program goals
• Report data trends, progress to resolve and potential escalation issues to the PMO HR Lead
• Explore opportunities to automate, streamline and simplify tracking process
• Train users on existing or new tracking tools
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills. Strong presentation skills with ability to concisely present information in clear and understandable format.
• Critical Thinking & Problem Solving: Ability to anticipate potential risks and issues that may impede the initiative and determine mitigating actions
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, work independently


Qualifications for this Financial Analyst job:

• Bachelor’s Degree required in accounting or related financial discipline

• Max: 8-10 years financial and/or accounting experience required.
• 3+ years in Finance functional experience with strong ability to analyze data and trends
• Hands-on experience in large-scale project, portfolio, resource planning, reporting, prioritization, and budgeting
• Attention to detail and critical thinking
• Proficient with MS Office suite
• Familiar with Workday
• Collaboration & Teamwork
