Type:                      Fulltime (40 hours / week) contract

Length:                  1 Year

Pay:                        15.00 / HR

Shift/Hours:          (6A – 1P) scheduling flexibility to work part-time hours around 25 hours over 4-5 days with work hours between 6 AM – 1 PM including weekend coverage to support Clinics in different time zones.



Responsibilities for this Workforce Scheduler job include, but are not limited to:

  • Is responsible for working to ensure that all employee call outs have coverage/are staffed completely while minimizing OT
  • Responsible for ensuring all Provider/Clinic schedules are kept up-to-date within the Schedule360 workforce management tool to accurately reflect call out activity and who is working in each of the clinics
  • The Scheduler will help to support all markets with on call duties and replacement of staff as needed
  • Consults/Assists market leadership in reviewing/approving OT if needed to ensure coverage
  • Responsible for identifying and assigning NP/PAs/LVNs to replace call outs
  • The Workforce Scheduler PT may be responsible for assisting with the scheduling of established markets as needed
  • Work with the Clinic Coordinators to obtain Provider and ancillary staff schedules according to market-specific staffing and scheduling procedures
  • Assisting with placing Providers and any ancillary staff in open shifts caused by vacations, sick days, disability leave, jury duty, and no shows within the guidelines of Company policies and procedures and using good business ethics
  • Consult/Assist market leadership in reviewing/approving OT if needed to ensure adequate coverage to meet the needs of the business
  • Assists with updating work schedules for Providers and any ancillary staff using the Schedule360 workforce scheduling tool
  • Assists with other duties as required for the appropriate staffing of clinics
  • Work with Market Leadership to manage Clinical and Non-Clinical hours of Providers and ancillary staff to minimize OT
  • Recognize staffing needs according to seasonality and works with the market leadership to develop the right staffing model and forecasting
  • Maintains/approves provider and ancillary staff profiles in Schedule360 and supports maintenance and updates to any Provider/ancillary staff information in the system
  • Assists Market Leadership to ensure that all exceptions are reconciled for pay-roll purposes
  • Maintains confidentiality of all sensitive materials
  • Ensures that markets are within staffing & scheduling budget reports to be used to identify trends in OT and non-clinical hours
  • Prepares reports for Leadership, including Area Directors and Chief Nurse Practitioner Officer using Schedule360
  • Assists with the development of other reports as needed


Qualifications for this Workforce Scheduler job:

  • Highschool Diploma or related field or equivalent experience
  • Previous scheduling in a medical environment preferred
  •  Customer-service oriented
  • Ability to work independently or with others in a fast paced environment with constant interruptions
  •  Ability to prioritize organize great attention to detail and ability to use critical thinking skills under pressure a must
  •  1 or more years of demonstrated customer service experience preferred
